Issue No. 1 of “21st CENTURY” journal for 2017 has been published by Noravank Foundation. This issue of the English language journal covers a wide variety of subjects. The opening article by G. Harutyunyan analyzes the critical infrastructure and ideology. A number of articles are dedicated to Russia-related politics, such as analysis of Russia’s global (M. Sahakyan) and post-Soviet area (V. Aglyan) policies, Russian perceptions of China’s One Belt, One Road initiative (L. Smirnova), and changes in Germany’s Russia policies (D. Sarkisyan). Modern technology related issues are discussed in articles about the scientific/technological landscape of the multipolar world (G. Harutyunyan, A. Marjanyan) and cyberspace as a domain for wars (A. Parzyan).

A number of articles are dedicated to public policy and international politics, such as analysis of “color revolutions” (G. Terterov), discussion of policy convergence in hierarchical international systems on the example of Russia-Armenia military cooperation (V. Aglyan), dealing with North Korea’s nuclear armament problem (M. Sahakyan), and issues of public trust to bureaucracies (R. Khachatryan).

Harutyunyan explores the reasons of the growing extremism around the world and the importance of intellectual parity in reestablishing the stability. A. Navasardyan and V. Aglyan address in their articles some aspects in modern international relations at the regional and global levels. The developments in Armenia are presented by an analysis of the youth movement outcomes based on a recent survey (S. Manukyan) and internationalization trends in the higher education system (R. Khachatryan).

The Noravank Foundation has published the 2nd issue of the “21st CENTURY” analytical journal for 2014. The articles featured in this last issue of the English language journal for the year cover a variety of topics. In particular, geo-economic matters are reviewed in a perspective of transition reforms (A. Tevikyan) and dependency theory (A. Gabrielyan), while modern geopolitical processes are discussed in the context of small nations’ diplomacy (A. Navasardyan) and American policy towards Iran (M. Sahakyan). Also, some interesting socio-cultural observations are presented regarding the Armenian community of Greece (V. Hovyan) and diverse communities of Ukraine (A. Sargsyan). Finally, the origin of apricot as a cultivated crop in Armenian Highland is discussed (E. L. Danielyan).

The 1st issue of “21st CENTURY” journal for 2014 has been published by Noravank Foundation. The articles included in this issue of the English language journal cover a variety of topics. In particular, new geopolitical realities affecting developments in the region and the world as a whole are discussed in articles by G. Harutyunyan, G. Terterov and S. Saradzhyan. The importance of being ready in military and scientific/historical aspects to thwart unfriendly actions of Armenia’s neighbors to east and west is emphasized in the articles of S. Ohanyan and E. Danielyan.

The Noravank Foundation has published the 2nd issue of analytical journal “21st CENTURY” for 2013. Some of the articles featured in the last issue of the English language journal for the year cover certain processes occurring under globalization, such as: the Middle Eastern turmoil turning into new type genocide (G. Harutyunyan), outlook of Armenian energy sector under integration projects (S. Sarukhanayan), globalization challenges and intensification of integration processes (B. Khusainov) and globalism era remembrance policy for Armenia (M. Dabag).

The 1st issue of “21st Century” journal for 2013 was published. It covered wide range of issues such as challenges Armenia may face in the globalizing world (Gagik Harutyunyan), dynamics of Turkey-Azerbaijan relations (Lia Evoyan), the results of the “reset” in the relations of the US and Russia (Ashot Margaryan), lessons of Lee Kuan Yew for Armenia (Monica Harutyunyan, Simon Saradzhyan) as well as lessons which can be drawn from the Cuban Missile Crisis in regard to the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict (Simon Saradzhyan, Artur Saradzhyan).

They included lectures presented at the international conference held on December 9-10, 2011 and arranged by the Ministry of Diaspora of Armenia, “Hyksos” Foundation and “Noravank” Foundation.

The authors here cover the themes concerning the causes and effects of the collapse of the Soviet system (G.Harutyunyan), prospects of nuclear energy in Armenia (S.Sarukhanyan), retaining national identity (G.Hakhverdyan), overcoming aftermaths of the Armenocide (L.Shirinyan) and image of our country (L.Aivazyan). There are also articles devoted to the significance of the Armenian writing in the civilizational aspect and two articles where authors speak about the current situation in Georgia – domestic policy of Georgia (H.Mikaelyan) and the issues of the national identity in Georgia (T.Vardanyan).

The second issue of “Noravank” Foundation’s “21st Century” journal for 2009 was published. Its articles touch upon the issues of ideology and information security (G. Harutyunyan), analysis of global crisis (I.Bagiryan) and its impact on the countries of the region (S.Grinyaev), as well as a number of issues concerning the Armenian Genocide, particularly the attitudes of Israel to the Genocide (Y.Auron), problems of the third generation of the Armenian Diaspora (G.Poghosyan), legal issues of state responsibility for genocide (V.Vardanyan) and history of the Armenian society self-organization in the light of Armenian Question.
